Welcome to Sashimanphotography ! By booking a session with Sasha , you (the “Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a clear understanding of expectations, services, and responsibilities for both parties.
1. Services Provided
Sashimanphotography specializes in editorial photography, couples’ portraits, and elopements. The specific services included in your session will be outlined in your booking agreement or proposal.
2. Booking and Payment
1. Booking Fee/Deposit: A non-refundable retainer fee of 50% of the package is required to secure your date. This amount will be applied toward your total session cost.
2. Payment Schedule: Full payment is due the day of the scheduled session.
3. Late Payments: Failure to pay the remaining balance will result in a hold on your gallery until the remaining balance is paid.

3. Rescheduling and Cancellations
1. Rescheduling by Client: Clients may reschedule their session with at least 5 days’ notice without penalty. Rescheduling requests made within 48hrs of the session may incur a fee.
2. Cancellations by Client: If the Client cancels the session, the retainer fee is non-refundable.
3. Cancellations by Photographer: In the unlikely event that Sasha must cancel, a full refund will be provided, or an alternate photographer will be recommended, if available.
4. Creative Rights and Style
1. Artistic Discretion: The Client acknowledges that Sashimanphotography is hired for their artistic style and expertise. While input is welcome, the final creative decisions rest with the photographer.
2. Editing and Retouching: Basic retouching is included in the service. Additional editing requests may be subject to an additional fee.
5. Delivery of Images
1. Turnaround Time: Edited images will be delivered within 7-14 days from the session date unless otherwise agreed upon.
2. Delivery Method: Final images will be provided digitally via WeTransfer
3. Image Quantity: The number of final images will depend on the session type and package chosen.
6. Copyright and Usage Rights
1. Copyright: All images created by Sashimanphotography are copyrighted and remain the property of the photographer.
2. Client Usage: Clients are granted personal use rights for the delivered images. This includes sharing on social media, printing, and other non-commercial purposes.
3. Photographer’s Portfolio: The photographer reserves the right to use images for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
7. Liability
1. Sashimanphotography will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of equipment and images during your session. However, the photographer is not liable for circumstances beyond their control, such as natural disasters, accidents, or technical malfunctions.
2. In the unlikely event of a total equipment failure or loss of images, the photographer’s liability is limited to the return of all payments received.
8. Model Release
By booking a session, the Client grants Sashimanphotography permission to use images of themselves and/or their event for portfolio and marketing purposes, unless otherwise specified in writing.
9. Confidentiality and Privacy
Client information will be kept private and confidential. Any concerns regarding the use of images or personal information must be communicated prior to the session.
